As a native Southern Illinoisan, I began my radio career
with 2 internships in St. Louis. But in radio you start out small,
and my first job took me to WMIX-FM in Mt. Vernon.
I did a solo morning show on a huge station in a little town…
the perfect introduction to the business.
Eventually I turned my compass north and headed
to Bloomington/ Normal, where I was the midday host
on the legendary 101.5 WBNQ. Since 2002 I have also worked
at Magic 100.7 in Bloomington and currently am the air
from 9-2 on Mix 94.5 in Champaign. I’m also the evening host
on Mix’s sister station, 92.5 The Chief.
