Thursday, November 20th
--Tonight it’s the Night of Lights Holiday Parade in Danville. Things kick off at 4 PM with music at the Temple Plaza by elementary and middle school choirs and musicians. After that, the Parade. New this year: Santa's float!
Friday, November 21st
--The Champaign Park District's Bright Lights Theatre Company will present Disney's “101 Dalmatians Kids” at Barkstall Elementary School in Champaign. Thursday-Saturday at 7 PM. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Tickets will be available at the door or can be purchased in advance at the Virginia Theatre Box Office.
Saturday, November 22nd
--Holiday Market at Lincoln Square in Urbana is going on 8am-1pm-The market features many unique and festive vendors and are excited to present products made or grown in Illinois. From produce to baked goods to holiday crafts, the holiday market is sure to offer something for everyone.
--The Mahomet Library will host a 5K fun run/walk and pancake and sausage breakfast Saturday. Race time at 9AM, with all participants receiving a free breakfast after the race. The breakfast itself runs from 8:30-10:30AM at the Lake of the Woods pavilion.
--The 26th annual Craft League of Champaign-Urbana Art Fair, one of the most popular and longstanding art events in the community, takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in downtown Urbana at the Civic Center.
--Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the Peanuts gang as they celebrate Thanksgiving. Kids are invited to view the classic film, "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving," and make a turkey to take home for your holiday table. Meets in Robeson Pavilion Rooms A & B at the Champaign Public Library.
Sunday, November 23rd
--Donate toys for Toys For Tots and enter to win a $100 gift certificate to Bentley's Pub and a three course meal for four people to Carmons. Donate between now and Dec. 19 at either location. Drawing for all entries will be held Dec. 19 at Bentley's Pub. Must be 21 years old to enter.
