Dr. Tony grew up in the Chicagoland area and attended veterinary school at the University of Illinois where he graduated in 2006. He spent a year at Texas A&M completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery before returning to the U of I to complete a residency in anatomic pathology. His interests include cancer metastasis as well as infectious diseases. On a personal note, he has been married to his wife, Jill, for almost five years and has a dog named Ellie who tends to run the household. Also, they are expecting a daughter in June.
